He gives higher priority to his hobbies rather than his work, and is more optimistic and quiet in comparison to Germany who is more serious and work-oriented. His interests are art, music (the piano in particular), and cake. In the first drama CD, it is revealed he is not an outdoors person and is afraid of marine animals (such as crabs and starfish). Despite being musically talented, he has no sense of direction and frequently gets lost; this is based on a joke Himaruya heard about an Austrian salesperson getting lost in his own storehouse. ((but as for me im a guy first of all....a straight guy soo yea me no do yaoi XD well that's against the rules anyway XD well anyway my actual personality is like Austria's except i smile and laugh more umm i'm generally a nice person and I really like hetalia...*slaps friend for not telling me it has a lot of yaoi-_-* I generally ignore the gay stuff and either turn it around and either nyotalia it or ignore it...or laugh at it XD but yea soo whoo for the 1% of the hetalia fanbase that's straight and male XD oh yes and i also Rp as Thailand South Korea Lithuania Denmark Iceland Switzerland Turkey Sweeden Norway and Austria on here :3))
